Meet the Founder

Carol Christian founded her first business, Texas Gold Jewelry, in 1983 with just $200 and a passion for entrepreneurship. After teaching for seven years while building her business, she transitioned full-time into fashion, eventually launching Tuxes from Texas, a hand-painted shirt brand sold at major trade shows. In 1998, as trends shifted, she rebranded to Cowgirl Glitter, bringing sparkly western fashion online and introducing Kippy belts to major shows like NFR and the Houston Stock Show. Over 30 years later, Carol continues to run Cowgirl Glitter with grit, gratitude, and a deep dedication to customer service—always keeping it small to keep it all.
